TeamCME has completed the 2010 training schedule and there are no additional TeamCME training conventions available until after the NRCME Final Rule becomes effective.
TeamCME training conventions are the most comprehensive available and include aDOT Medical Exam course, a Lifeloc Provisional BAT Instructor course, and a DOT Urine collection “Train the Trainer” course. Course content may be viewed by clicking above on “Course Descriptions”
Due to FMCSA confidentiality restrictions for Dr. Megehee as a member of the NRCME Education Team, TeamCME will arrange for the University of Western States, David Thorpe, DC, Clinton Smith, DC and others, to provide the DOT Medical Exam training portion at TeamCME conventions.
TeamCME recommends the Lifeloc Phoenix 6 Breath Alcohol Tester for all TeamCME BAT training and accreditation. Easily the most advanced and easy to use BAT on the market, TeamCME training allows the physician to perform yearly dry gas calibrations of the Phoenix 6.0 (other BAT equipment must be sent to the manufacturer for calibration yearly).
TeamCME is completing preparations to be a Lifeloc distributor and will be passing along savings in convention specials and year round discount pricing. Until that time, please go to http://www.lifeloc.com/ for additional information or call Lifeloc at 800-722-4872 and ask for Jaime. Make sure to tell them you are a TeamCME physician.
TeamCME conventions that include the NRCME “Required” training are expected to begin in 2011 at various yet undetermined US cities. TeamCME will arrange for an outside source to provide the NRCME “Required” training at TeamCME conventions.
