TeamCME:  Convention, Online, Webconference, and State Trainer Courses.   

 National Registry (NRCME) Accredited DOT Medical Exam for Physicians:

Fulfill the Accredited Training requirement to become a Certified Medical Examiner in the National Registry (NRCME) as a DC, MD, DO, ANP, PA and other professions*. This course will include all components of the Final Guidance for Core Curriculum Specifications as published by the FMCSA. Learn your current role as a DOT Medical Examiner by learning how to perform the DOT medical exam and apply the FMCSA Medical Standards, advisory criteria, and guidelines to determine driving status. This 14 hour course details the components of the DOT Medical Exam for commercial drivers, which drivers must maintain current medical certification, FMCSA regulations, and how to determine driver status for drivers with medical conditions.  Only available as a Convention Course.  Continuing Education hours available for the chiropractic profession, (others pending).

Other professions may include DPMs and NPs.*

Lifeloc Provisional BAT Instructor and C-LOCT Training Course:

As a Provisional BAT instructor and BAT manager in your office, you need to be able to manage the difficult and out of the ordinary situations that occasionally appear in all clinics. This course fulfills Lifeloc Certification requirements to train your staff as DOT Breath Alcohol Technicians (BAT) and to perform the yearly calibration of the Lifeloc Phoenix 6. Attendees must already be an accredited BAT or must complete the Online Lifeloc Qualification Training and the TeamCME “Proficiency” Training prior to attending. This is an advanced course and is only available at a TeamCME convention.

DOT Urine Specimen Collection “Train the Trainer” Course

Clinic managers need to know how to answer difficult questions and insure that collection in their office are performed correctly. Urine collections for drug testing is a significant income resource for your practice and your staff does most of the work. DOT regulations allow those that attend this class to train and accredit their staff to perform DOT urine collections. Those that wish to attend this class must already be a DOT Urine Collector or must attend the TeamCME Webconference Qualification and Proficiency training.  This is an advanced (Train the Trainer) course and is only available at a TeamCME Conference.

This is a free course given at our TeamCME conferences. Learn how to find clients, price and market your DOT services to local drivers and motor carriers. Learn how TeamCME benefits save you money and make you more competitive. Online Lifeloc BAT “Qualification” Course:

This basic DOT Breath Alcohol Technician (BAT) course fulfills the DOT regulation for the required “Qualification” training to perform DOT alcohol tests. Webconference  BAT “Proficiency” Demonstration:  

Satisfies the DOT requirement for “proficiency” training to perform DOT alcohol testing. Get your BAT proficiency training from TeamCME staff with a ”live” webconference. DOT regulations require that proficiency training be completed within 30 days of the “Qualification” course. Contact TeamCME to arrange your profiency training.   $90 member    $130 non-member  

Webconference  DOT Urine Collector “Qualification” Course:  

DOT regulations require completion of “Qualification” training and “Proficiency” demonstration to perform the urine specimen collection for DOT drug testing programs. This live webconference with our staff satisfies the requirement for “Qualification” training.  Includes manual and training supplies. Call TeamCME to schedule.  $100 member  $160 non-member 

Webconference  Urine Collector “Proficency” Demonstration:

This course satisfies the DOT “Proficiency” demonstration requirements to provide DOT urine collections for drug testing. DOT regulations require that “Proficiency” training be completed within 30 days of “Qualification” training.  Available as a live webconferece with TeamCME Staff or live from a TeamCME State Trainer (different pricing).  Contact TeamCME for scheduling.  $80 member,  $120 non-member

Convention Cost:

Cost for the 2012 Training Courses are not yet available, however TeamCME providers, ACA Members, and UWS Staff are eligible for significant discounts to be announced soon. 

**Dr. Megehee can not instruct or assist DOT Medical Exam training programs due to his position on the NRCME Education Team however he will be available to answer questions during breaks.  The Medical Exam courses are provided by a provider of TeamCME, ACA or the UWS.
